To deepen the integration of industry, academia and research in civil engineering, and to support the innovative development of civil engineering in the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, on May 30, 2026, the 17th Work Seminar for Deans and Directors of Civil Engineering Colleges and Departments of Higher Education and the Forum on Opportunities and Challenges of Civil Engineering Discipline Development during the "15th Five-Year Plan" were grandly opened in Haikou, hosted by Hainan University. LiZhi Testing, as a leading enterprise in high-end mechanical testing equipment in China, was invited to attend the event. Together with over a hundred experts and scholars in civil engineering from universities across the country and industry elites, they explored new paths for the development of the discipline and discussed the new future of industrial collaboration.
During the conference, the participating team of LiZhi Testing had in-depth communication with the deans and research leaders of civil engineering colleges of multiple universities, presenting detailed technical achievements and application cases in heavy-load fatigue testing, structural seismic detection, and bridge expansion devices, and highlighting the overall solution for civil engineering structure laboratories that meets the research and teaching needs of universities. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation directions such as the joint construction of research equipment, joint talent cultivation, and collaborative research on scientific research topics, reaching multiple cooperation agreements, which laid a solid foundation for further deepening the collaboration between universities and enterprises and promoting precise alignment of discipline construction with industrial demands.
