On April 14, 2026, the plenary meeting of the National Intelligent Manufacturing Standardization General Group and Expert Consultation Group was grandly held in Beijing. Leaders from various national departments and authoritative institutions such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as industry experts and members of the General Group and Expert Consultation Group, totaling over 150 people, attended the meeting. The meeting comprehensively deployed the construction of the new generation of intelligent manufacturing standards during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, announced the list of new members of the national intelligent manufacturing standardization organization and presented appointment letters, and pointed out the direction for the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry towards intelligence, high-endization, and standardization.

The meeting clearly stated that China's intelligent manufacturing has entered a critical transformation stage of forward-looking planning, active leadership, and standard precedence. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, intelligent manufacturing standardization will be the core support, and four major tasks will be prioritized:

Improve the top-level organizational system and accelerate the refinement of the system architecture and standard system of the new generation of intelligent manufacturing;

Strengthen project-driven research and development, promote the coordinated upgrade of standards for intelligent equipment, measurement and control systems, and detection equipment;

Highlight the industrial application orientation, rely on the gradient cultivation of intelligent factories, and promote the standardized implementation of standards;

Deepen international standard cooperation and enhance China's international discourse power and influence in the field of intelligent manufacturing.

The meeting particularly emphasized: High-end testing equipment, intelligent detection, and precise measurement and control are important basic supports of the intelligent manufacturing system. It is necessary to simultaneously improve the technical standards, testing norms, and application systems of intelligent detection equipment to lead the domesticization and intelligence development of high-end testing equipment with high standards.

The new deployment and requirements of national intelligent manufacturing standardization are highly consistent with the direction of supporting testing development. Supporting testing closely follows the national strategy, focuses on the standardization construction of intelligent testing equipment. It will continue to closely follow national policy guidance, adhere to technological innovation and standard leadership, and with the hard power of intelligent testing equipment, help China's intelligent manufacturing transformation and upgrading to achieve high-quality development.
